The PAV makes calls to other videophones simple. Video point-to-point callers can connect with a wide variety of video equipment including web-cams that are H.323 compliant. Sign language users can call other sign language users directly and business travelers can participate in video conferences. While video point-to-point calls are becoming much more common across the board, these calls have grown particularly fast among the deaf, who make an estimated 30-40 million minutes a month in video point-to-point calls.
