The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires reasonable accommodations in venues and facilities that are open to the public. Private entities such as hotels, restaurants, theaters, retail stores, dry cleaners, doctor’s offices, shopping malls and amusement parks are covered under Title III Regulation 28 CFR Part 36.303 auxiliary aids and services. Because the PAV provides high-quality communications access to people who are deaf, hard of hearing or speech-disabled, it plays a major role in creating and maintaining
ADA
compliance.
